Halloween Film
Going into the film, we had the picture of using a smoke machine to have the trick or treaters walk through to really get a creepy feeling. We knew we were going to have trouble figuring out the lighting because none of us had ever filmed in the dark so when we practiced filming on Wednesday night, we realized we need a couple more lights. We made a list of more props we need including tea lights for the pumpkins we carved, two more lights, etc.
Our next film is going to be a Halloween horror film. Sarah is the director of the film and was inspired by a video she had seen on youtube. We are shooting the film at Grace's house using Louisa as the main actor. The idea of the film is to create spooky feeling when Louisa is trick or treating and instead of following the rules and only taking one candy from the "take one" bowl, Louisa takes the whole bowl and is then stalking by Devin, the creepy old man.
Getting ready to film for real, we don't need a script because there are no words or conversations which should make filming easier. Because we practiced filming on Wednesday, we know where we need to place the light stands, cameras, and props for a couple of the scenes which will save a lot of time.
